While marriage brings a smile on everyone’s lips, some filmmakers are not quite happy with buxom beauty Ayesha Takia’s decision to tie the knot. Not that love is coming in their way, it’s just personal decisions hampering their professional plans . While Ayesha has promised to finish the ongoing projects unaffected by her soon-to-be-changing marital status, she has given an ultimatum to those filmmakers who haven’t yet started their projects. She is opting out after promising her roles for the sake of her marriage to beau Farhan Azmi.

She is quitting her career post her marriage, but it is not clear whether Farhan has anything to do with the startling dercision.

Jagmohan Mundhra, who was creating her own Bollywood version of the Hollywood comedy flick ‘The 40-Year Old Virgin’ is now left in a lurch. This Govinda starrer is without its heroine now. This is the second film in a row after Rumi Jaffrey’s ‘Life Partner’ when Govinda is stranded without a proper leading lady even after shooting extensively.

“That’s because we can’t sign any and everyone opposite Govinda,” Mundhra explained to a news daily, adding, “He’s a a huge star and a brilliant actor. And his co-star needs to match his comic timing. Ayesha Takia fitted the bill in every detail.” The role required an innocent, lively Indian girl oblivious of the hard facts of life.

Talking about the film, Mundhra elaborated, “It’s almost the role of a child-bride – innocent and tomboyish, like Jaya Bhaduri in ‘Uphaar’ or Moushumi Chatterjee in ‘Balika Badhu’. I could only think of Ayesha Takiya. Even Amrita Rao, who would seem like a natural choice for innocent characters, is now turning into a glamorous entity on magazine covers. So I guess we’re really short of innocence in Bollywood these days.”

Mundhra has no choice but to take in a new heroine.

“Javed Akhtar has recommended Aditi Sharma. She was featured in Subhash Ghai’s ‘Black & White’. I’ll watch the film and take a final call. But, in principle, Aditi is on,” he said about his choice.
