Shahid Kapoor and Ayesha Takia are currently wrapping up their new film “Paathshaala.” Our two stars play the roles of young, free-spirited teachers, while Nana Patekar portrays Principal Aditya Sahay.

Principal Sahay is a man dedicated to principles and instilling them in his institution. Despite his upright value, the principal loves to teach and genuinely loves his students. Shahid Kapoor plays the role of teacher Rahul Udyavar. Rahul is an English teacher with a very modern look on life. He loves his job and is a very compassionate character. He wants to help his students at any cost. Rahul wants to see an education system following true spirit and growth.

Ayesha plays the role of Anjali Mathur, an ECA teacher, music teacher, and a hostel manager. She too loves her job and will do anything for her kids. She takes Rahul’s side as they hope to reform the school system to make it a more free-spirited institution.

“Paathshaala” is a film with a message as it explores the change in education systems and the way students have changed as well. Topics such as suicide, fees, stress, and punishments are all dealt with in this sensitive movie.

As the teachers all band together for the safety and needs of the children, they are faced with some tough challenges.

Both Shahid and Ayesha look young and fresh in their roles and have the ability to portray their characters quite well. Ayesha has a fondness of children which can clearly be seen in these photos and together Ayesha and Shahid make a great on-screen couple.
