Ayesha Takia has been basking in the glory of Wanted, in which she starred opposite Salman Khan. However, the actress is not keen on more success in Bollywood. Yes, after having married hotelier Farhan Azmi last year, the actress decided to call it quits where acting is concerned.

On the other hand, Ayesha is all set to take a new avatar. She will be joining her husband in expanding the hotel business, sources say. If this is true, then Ayesha’s last film would be Paathshala.

However, as luck would have it, Jackie ended up finding herself playing the main lead while Sonal Sehgal was roped in for the second lead.

“Nothing scandalous actually”, laughs Jackie who is happy with her decision of opting out when offered the second lead role to begin with, “I had originally auditioned for the character of Natasha (which is now being played by Sonal).

Ayesha Takia She had a huge hit last year in the form of ‘Wanted’, opposite hot star Salman Khan and she has ‘Paathshala’ with Shahid Kapoor releasing shortly. But that’s about it! Ayesha Takia has no more Bollywood projects in hand.

We recently ran into the lady enjoying a coffee with mommy dear at a suburban café and that’s when the lovely actress revealed. “I am just enjoying my break. I haven’t signed any films as of now.” But the actress has a few things planned to keep her occupied as she takes a break from being in the arc lights.

Ayesha Takia is now associated with a message-oriented film, titled Paathshala. The film is a take on the poverty in Indian education system, that treats the child/student, rather mindlessly.

Ayesha will share screenspace with the likes of Nana Patekar, Suniel Shetty and others. However, it is Shahid Kapoor whom she will romance.

The film will have loads of comedy and romance, too. Which explains the presence of Shahi and Ayesha in the movie.

Directed by Milind Ukey, it has been under production for some months now.
