Ayesha Takia and beau Farhan Azmi have finally decided to formalize their relationship. The wedding is likely to take place by the end of this year. According to our source, “Ayesha and Farhan have been dating for nearly three years and are very serious about each other. It’s time to take the relationship to the next and a meaningful level. The families have met and discussed the wedding plans.” When contacted, Ayesha said, “Yes, I am getting married very, very soon. I will make a formal announcement of the date and the month, shortly.” Farhan was more frank and forthcoming.

Percept Ltd has given P9 Integrated CEO Navin Shah additional responsibility of its motion picture division. Shah will now be heading Percept Picture Company (PPC) as its new CEO.

The position of CEO at Percept Picture Company has been vacant since February this year, when Preet Bedi put in his papers.

Confirming the development to Businessofcinema.com, Shah says, “I have been given additional charge of Percept Picture Company. It was a logical extension of my role at P9. The mandate is to take PPC to the next level so as to make it India’s biggest motion picture studio.”

Bollywood actress Ayesha Takia is all set to settle down with her beau Farhan Azmi, son of Samajwadi party member Abu Azmi. The marriage is likely to take place by the end of this year or early next year.

Mukesh Talreja and Nikhil Advani’s Orion Pictures has signed lyricist Sameer to pen the lyrics for the production house’s five upcoming films.

As has already been reported by Businessofcinema.com, Orion Pictures is planning to produce six films over the next 12 months. Of the two films that are under production are Chandni Chowk to China and Ab Dilli Door Nahi. Another film in the offing is the official remake of Hollywood movie Wedding Crashers.

Chandni Chowk to China stars Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone and is being distributed by Warner Bros.

Ayesha Takia has finally fixed her marriage date and she now wants her movies to be completed before the D-day. But her decision to get married has affected half a dozen directors are now requesting Ayesha Takia to hang on for at least a couple of years.
