In fact, even Nethra Raghuraman and Rukhsana Eisa fancied sarees for a change! The other attraction here were Farhan Azmi and Ayesha Takia. His geeky pair of spectacles and her pink mobile phone looked oh-so-trendy! Sporting a small bun and a one-shoulder top, the actress mingled around with a girlish charm. The theme at the store was white as “white depicts purity,” said Azeem, feeling overwhelmed with the response to his designs. His wife Sameena Khan chose to sport a white number herself. Models were seen sashaying the entire look with clutches, belts and earrings displaying the light-weight line of accessories. While the heavy-weight list of guests continued to pour in and have a gala evening.

Wanted girl Ayesha Takia has lend her chirpy voice for a character called baby cheetah in Nikhil Advani’s animation film ‘Delhi Safari’. The film traces the journey of a group of wild animals from Mumbai to Delhi and revolves around a leopard family of three. Apart from Ayesha bigger actors like Suniel Shetty and Urmila will also voice for the leopard Sultan and his wife respectively.

Ayesha Takia is very angry with Raj Thackeray and his MNS MLAs who attacked her father-in-law Abu Asim on the floor of the Maharashtra Assembly when he took oath in Hindi.

“I am shocked and disgusted by the behavior of Raj Thackeray and his people,” she lashes out on a social networking site.

“The way they behaved with Abu Azmi during today’s swearing-in was really unbelievable and disgusting. How can we ever feel safe in a place where gundas are allowed to behave as they please,” she asks.

Pokkiri, the Tamil original, penned by Poori Jagannath, was a a runaway hit – and it will be hardly surprising if the Hindi adaptation follows suit. Race writer Shiraz Ahmed adapts the story very well. Radhe (Salman), a hitman, changes sides and partners as per his convenience and conviction. “Maine ek baar commitment kar diya to main apni bhi nahi sunta” is his motto. He roams around freely without any fear with his set of friends-cum-henchmen. He runs into Janhavi (Ayesha), a pretty call-centre worker and as the lecherous police inspector Talpade (Mahesh Manjrekar) devises ways and means to captivate Jahnavi, uncannily Radhe rescues her every time and eventually the two end up getting romantically involved.

Producer Boney Kapoor announced Sept. 25 that he was planning a sequel to “Wanted,” which he said earned Rs. 40 crores its first week alone.

The actress said, “My sister Natasha who’s 21 will be entering films next year. Hopefully, she’ll be welcomed in the industry like other star sisters are. I’m very excited for her. Let’s hope her career works out. When I started out I had no clue about these things. At least now, when they know I’m her sister, they’ll give her a chance.”
