But Ayesha has a different story to add about her in-laws and said it is ridiculous to hear such rumors that have no connection in her real life. Ayesha added, “I’m amazed at the games people play. The other day someone asked me if I’ve started wearing a burqa after marriage. Far from feeling clamped I now have the freedom to do more things than before. My parents-in-law are cool about my business ventures with my husband and my film career.”

Because I married Ayesha Takia Azmi says, “My mother and sister have just found a house in Pali Hill at Bandra after searching for a whole year. While some societies don’t want Muslims, others say the same for both Christians and Muslims. Ever since I married Farhan, some housing societies feel my mom and sis are Muslims too and refuse to let them stay.

Producer Boney Kapoor announced Sept. 25 that he was planning a sequel to “Wanted,” which he said earned Rs. 40 crores its first week alone.

Bubbly actress Ayesha Takia Azmi got married to long time beau Farhan Azmi last month. She celebrates her 23rd birthday today. She talks about marriage, birthday plans, her new film with Jaya Bachchan and Raveena Tandon and much more.

“LIFE has not changed at all after marriage. It feels exactly the same because Farhan and I have known each other for five long years. We keep asking each other that why didn’t we do this before! “We went all over Europe for our honeymoon. Farhan knows London well because he studied there. We relaxed, walked the streets, went into cosy cafes. Now we’re back in the heat of Mumbai,” says Ayesha.

So how is she finding life after marriage? “Honestly I can’t see the difference between before and after the wedding. My husband Farhan Azmi has been an integral part of my family for five years now. I’ve no close friends. For me, my mom and sister are the closest people in my life.”
