Hey good news for all Ayesha Takia fans, since all of us know that the actress is tying knot on March 1st with her boy friend Farhan Azmi son of Samajwadi Party leader Abu Azmi. But wedding won’t tie the actress away from the film industry.

Even after her marriage Ayesha will be seen acting in the films as she enjoys working in films. Apart from acting, the actress and her fianc are also planning to build chain of hotels in Goa and as this project completes and will be on track then further they have plans to have hotels around the country too.

Bollywood actress Ayesha Takia (heroine of Puri Jagannath’s Super in Telugu) will tie the knot with her long-time boyfriend Farhan Azmi, a restaurateur and son of Samajwadi Party leader Abu Azmi, on March 1st in Mumbai as per Muslim tradition.

From Tollywood, action hero Nagarjuna and director Puri Jagannath are expected to attend the reception to be held on March 2nd. In fact, the wedding was supposed to take place in December, but was postponed due to the terrorist attacks in Mumbai.

With Ayesha Takia all set to tie the knot with long time beau Farhan Azmi, there is a strong buzz in the industry circles that she will not sign any new films thereafter and bow out of the film industry.

An industry source revealed, “Ayesha has three major films on hand presently, the Salman Khan starrer Wanted Dead And Alive which is almost complete and Revathy Kumar’s Phir Tum Mile starring R. Madhavan and Jaya Bachchan. Her Akshay Kumar starrer Eight By Ten is ready for release this April. That apart she is playing a cameo role in Ahmed Khan’s Paathshala and giving her voice for animated feature Ab Dilli Door Nahin.

Its seems forever ago that news of Ayesha Takia’s wedding to longtime boyfriend Farhan made the rounds but finally there is news as to when the big day will take place. Initially the wedding for set for Christmas Eve, however post the Mumbai attacks and because of Farhan’s father’s operation, the couple were in no mood for celebrations so they postponed the big day till mid-2009. Now news has come that the couple are so eager to tie he knot that they have decided to get married by the end of this month! Ayesha is frantically shopping to make the big day perfect and unfortunately is yet to comment to the media about the news. Apparently Ayesha who broke down completely after the Taj attack decided to delay her marriage. Apart from that Farhan’s father Samajwadi Party leader, Abu Azmi was in a hospital recuperating after an operation.

News about Ayesha Takia and her restaurateur beau, Farhan Azmi’s, marriage has been doing the rounds for quite some time now.

Putting an end to all speculations, the couple has finally decided to get married by the end of this month.
This latest news will come as a surprise to many, as last year Ayesha and Farhan who were to get married on Christmas Eve had postponed their wedding due to the terror attacks in Mumbai on 26/11. After the attacks, Farhan Azmi had said, “When Ayesha heard the news about the attacks, she broke down. Dad (Samajwadi Party leader, Abu Azmi) was in a hospital recuperating after an operation. He too was very upset, when he heard about the attacks. None of us are in the mood for any celebrations this year. Our mood is too grim and sombre. As of now, there can be no wedding celebrations. The wedding might now happen in mid-2009. And it will be a small and private affair.”

The terrible 26/11 Mumbai attacks have changed a lot things for Ayesha Takia as well, just like many others.

If all things had been different, Ayesha would’ve been busy with her wedding preparations at the moment.

But following the attacks out of respect for the dead and the survivors, she and fiancé, restaurateur Farhan Azmi decided to wisely push their wedding to next year.

The actress had been refusing films for the last six months. She’s also been giving sleepless nights to producers and had asked them to wrap up their pending projects with her fast.  She has three big releases coming up in 2009- ‘Wanted’, ‘Tasveer’ and ‘Paathshala’.
